 Why do I need a STEM Search Engine?
ANSWER:
 There are many private,government, and not for profit organizations that offer programs and activities that expose your child or student to the exciting and fun world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Having a dedicated search engine to find those activities in your area that fit your need makes it easier to match the student up with their interests.
QUESTION:
 If my group has an administrative account with STEMsearch, how do I enter our events and services so that they are visible on the public portal?
ANSWER:
 Please do the following to make your events visible to the public: 1. Go to STEMsearch.ConnectToTech.org 2. Click on the white "LOGIN" button on the top right of the screen 3. Enter your login ID and password. Remember they are case-sensitive. 4. This brings you to the main "STEMsearch Dashboard" 5. To enter your events click on the "Manage Events" link on the left side of the screen 6. This brings you to the data entry screen. Click on the "Add Event" link to the right of the "Search" button in the middle of the screen 7. This brings you to the "Required" fields of th Event & Service Manager screen. Fill out all the fields on this tab. 8. If you would like to add or track more information, you can click on the tab labelled "Advanced" at the top of the page. In particular on the "Advanced" tab, if you would like to receive an email should your event be requested by someone using the portal, please enter your email address on this page in the appropriate text box toward the bottom. 9. The last tab at the top of the page named "Disposition" is for you to use to track status of the event, attendees or any other metrics important to you.

 If I am an individual, how can I can make my event or service visible to the public?
ANSWER:
 a. Go to STEMsearch.ConnectToTech.org b. Click on the red button labelled "Add Your Event Here!" c. Fill in the form. Be sure to add the email addresses of anyone that you would like to have notified if there is an inquiry for a field trip. d. Push the button "Submit Your Event" e. Content will be quickly reviewed to make sure all fields were interpreted properly and then will be made visible to the public
